This is the fourth Illuminate Adelaide event to light up the city’s streets and surrounding landscapes. The annual event is set to embrace “art, light, music and technology”, presenting work by local, national, and international artists and companies.

- Fire Gardens
Date: July 4th – July 21st 2024
Time: Thursday to Sunday (sessions available every 15 minutes, from 5:45pm to 8:15pm)
Location: Adelaide Botanic Garden, entry via Main Gate, North Terrace
For those who enjoy the golden glow of firelight, the French artist collective Compagnie Carabosse created the captivating Fire Garden – a fantasy of firelight, kinetic sculptures, and live music. You will be in awe of this incredible creative journey full of illuminated surprises from the moment you pass through the gateway of flickering candlelight.
Carabosse paint with the magnificent palette of fire – capturing its colour, warmth, sound, along with scent for sensational sell-out seasons. In 2024, the iconic grounds of Adelaide Botanic Garden serve as the canvas, when fire transform into well-worn paths and creative artistic journeys ignited by the soft glow over 7000 handcrafted fire pots, candlelit archways, as well as kinetic sculptures of the natural environment.
Embrace the warmth of the elements by creating your own journey around the extensive grounds of the Gardens for a genuinely comprehensive twilight experience, complete with live music performances. Tickets available from $40.00 – $42.00 PP.
