Get ready to indulge in the finest food and wine culture that South Australia has to offer because Tasting Australia is back! From April 28th to May 7th, 2021, this highly anticipated festival will feature various events, tastings, and demonstrations by some of the region’s most renowned chefs, winemakers, and food producers.
We’ve compiled a guide of our top picks to help you make the most of this incredible celebration!
01 TOWN SQUARE
Calling all foodies visiting South Australia! If you want to indulge in a deliciously diverse food experience, head straight to the Festival Hub in the town square. With over 15 food vendors and a range of beverages, your taste buds will be in for a treat. We recommend the loaded Mac and Cheese from Chef on Wheels or the heavenly Mochi Donuts from Shibui for dessert – we can’t resist them either!
02 MASTERCLASS
Tasting Australia is not just about indulging in delicious food, it’s also a rare opportunity to elevate your culinary skills with expert-led masterclasses. Take advantage of the chance to learn about Cabernet aka “the king of grapes’ with the Cabernet masterclass or immerse yourself in the art of sushi and sashimi with Crowne Plaza’s exclusive masterclass. These experiences are too good to pass up – make sure they’re on your must-do list!
03 CHEF’S TABLE
If you’re willing to indulge in a luxurious dining experience, we recommend The Chef’s Table. This immersive culinary event provides an opportunity to interact closely with renowned chefs, winemakers, and beverage experts. While some of the events have already reached capacity, our top recommendation is the Japanese and Korean culinary experience by two of Australia’s leading chefs, Chae & Luke Burgess.
WHEN – 28 April to 7 May
WHERE – Victoria Square/Tarntanyangga Town Square.
